Désirée Dietrich

Consultant for the training program GRADE - The (Post-) Graduate Academy of the Goethe University, Göthe University

The always uncomplicated cooperation with Marius Kursawe and Robert Kötter is characterized by high effectiveness, friendliness and flexibility, not least due to a large international pool of young trainers. The asynchronous eLearning offer of 21Skills now also offers participants the possibility to work on a topic independent of time and location. Short-term meetings in the working group or teaching obligations do not interfere with the participation in full-day courses, as they can be completed, stopped or repeated again flexibly. Certainly, asynchronous offerings can never replace the exchange in a group. But this is also compensated for by live sessions within the framework of the eLearning platform, in which one can not only exchange ideas with other participants, but trainers are also available in Q&A sessions. In addition, the range of courses on offer is constantly being expanded to include current topics in consultation with customers. It remains exciting to see which courses will be published in the near future.”

Dr. Uta Brunner

Program Coordination Postdoc Program, Heinrich- Heine-University Düsseldorf

The e-learning offer of TOS complements our own program with a very important component - flexibility. Continuing education independent of "space and time" is a great benefit for our young scientists in addition to all the tasks they have to cope with. The extremely high-quality and variously formatted inputs make them want to learn more and also contribute directly to their personal development.”

Dr. Michael Schöner

Head of Graduate Academy and University Didactics, University Greifswald

The e-learning offer of TwentyOne Skills is an excellent addition to the offers of the Graduate Academy of the University of Greifswald. After we have supplemented our analog offerings with digital and blended workshops in recent years, it is now a logical consequence to also create the temporal flexibility for further education through the e-learning offering. The online courses from TwentyOne Skills are not only a practical alternative for people who can no longer get a place in workshops with limited participation, but also complement our formats in terms of content, especially in the area of "New Work". And above all, the varied and high-quality courses are great fun!”

Alexandra Dalek

Speaker of the Graduate, Graduate Center of the TU Ilmenau

"I would have totally loved to take part in that course, but unfortunately I have teaching at that time." One hears such or similar sentences again and again as a coordinator of a qualification program for doctoral students. This is regrettable, because the offers do not reach a certain group within the doctoral student body, which, however, is also interested in furthering their education, working on their own strengths and challenges. In order for us to provide a diverse range of offerings for this target group, the Twenty One Skills e-learning platform is ideal. Attending a course on mental health, career planning or leadership when and where I want brings the desired flexibility and independence for doctoral students who are very time-constrained due to their numerous tasks in addition to their dissertation. The choice between Deep Dive and Learning Nugget further promotes this. With the e-learning offer, we were able to reach doctoral students who were not able to attend a course before, be it for time, personal or language reasons. The e-learning is not a substitute for our workshops, but a profitable addition in the area of qualification of young scientists.”

Team Leader Personnel Development/Training, German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE)

We have been searching for a long time for e-learnings that not only fit thematically, but are also tailored to the needs and target group of our scientists. With TOS, we have found didactically very good e-learnings that can be easily integrated into the everyday life of our scientists and represent an important addition to our own offering.”

Career Counseling & Coaching Career, Center & Postdoc Office, Jülich Research Center

Since 2018, Twenty One Skills has repeatedly accompanied us on our way in career counseling for young scientists. I appreciate the very good feeling for presenting important topics for PhD students and postdocs in a modern and appealing way. We appreciate this very much in various trainings and e-learnings of Twenty One Skills. In addition, we benefit greatly from various networking events through TOS, which bring together other university and non-university research institutions at a low threshold.”
